Rock Commander
The 5-day Rock Commander course takes place on September
22-26, 2008 and is the most elite and strenuous curriculum we offer.
It is designed for serious climbers or those wanting to become serious
climbers, those who lead small groups of friends and family into the
wilderness to climb, and those aspiring to one day gain AMGA certification
and possibly have a career in the outdoor industry.
During the week we will travel to some
of the best natural climbing areas Tennessee has to offer. Many topics
will be covered throughout the course. At the end of the course you
will have significantly more confidence in your ropework and ability
on the rock. You will know how to safely manage small groups of friends
and family at the crag. You will also gain a basic knowledge of popular
climbing areas in Tennessee.
There are only 6 spaces available in this unique course.
This small guide-to-student ratio will ensure more personal time devoted
to each participant and will also help the student to better retain
the information presented.
Prerequisites
-
You must be 14 years of age or older at any time in 2008.
